301 - Jones English Horn Reed - Designed for students, intermediate or professional players. As with all other Jones reeds, these reeds are made using the finest French cane available. Jones English Horn reeds are made using precision reed making equipment allowing for a defined window, spine and heart. The profiles are hand tied to 55mm length using precision made brass staples. The string is double coated with lacquer and a wire is used to allow adjustment of the tip opening. Each reed is tested and adjusted, as required, before packaging. 8mm tip, 18.3mm scrape, set on a brass tube with a 26 gauge wire added for the musician to adjust the tip opening to their satisfaction.
