Norman B150 Special 150th Anniversary Edition of La Patrie More than a guitar, a story... In 2025, the village of La Patrie celebrates its 150th anniversary. To mark this historic milestone, we have created an exceptional instrument: the Norman B150, a limited edition guitar designed and built in the very heart of where it all began. It was in 1972 that Robert Godin crafted his very first guitars in La Patrie, Quebec. This small village quickly became the birthplace of a unique expertise, recognized far beyond our borders. Now, over fifty years later, we pay tribute to the tradition and passion that continue to inspire us. The B150 embodies everything Norman stands for: a deep connection to our roots, a constant pursuit of quality, and a desire to share Quebec’s craftsmanship with the world. Made from carefully selected tonewoods, sourced from a special stock stored in our facilities for over 30 years, this guitar stands out for its authentic character, rich sound, and elegant, understated aesthetics. Each instrument is hand-signed by Robert and Simon Godin, a reflection of their personal commitment to this unique project. A cedar certificate of authenticity, shaped like a pick, accompanies every guitar to emphasize its exclusivity. Only 150 units of the Norman B150 will be produced. A heartfelt tribute to a village, a family, and a passion that has endured for more than half a century.
